Welcome to GotFreeCards. By creating an account or using this site you agree to these terms. We have written them to be straightforward — please take a moment to read them.
1. Who We Are
GotFreeCards is a free greeting card service that lets you personalise, print, and send ecards. These terms apply to all use of the site and its services.
2. Your Account
You must provide an accurate email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that takes place under it. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
3. Acceptable Use
GotFreeCards is a service for sending thoughtful, positive messages to people. Please use it that way.
You agree not to use the site to:
- Send or create content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or offensive
- Target anyone on the basis of race, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or disability
- Create or send any content that could harm or exploit minors
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code that could damage systems or data
- Use the service in any way that disrupts or degrades it for other users
- Violate any applicable laws
We take these rules seriously. Violations may result in immediate removal of content and suspension or termination of your account.
4. Content You Create
The messages and personalised content you create belong to you. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content only as needed to deliver the service (for example, to send an eCard on your behalf or save a personalised card to your account).
We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.
5. Intellectual Property
The cards, artwork, templates, and site design on GotFreeCards are our property or are licensed to us. You may use them to create personalised cards for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or sell the card artwork or any part of the site.
6. Premium Subscriptions
Some cards and features are available only with a paid Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through PayPal on a monthly or yearly basis.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account.
- Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
7. Privacy
We respect your privacy and collect only what is necessary to run the service. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand what data we hold and how we use it.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or changes at any time. We will not be liable for any inconvenience caused by downtime or changes to the service.
9. Limitation of Liability
GotFreeCards is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage — including lost data, lost profits, or service interruptions — arising from your use of the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such issues.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes where practical.
